We love fresh veggies around here. We used to eat them occassionally that was before we got the opportunity to try the Mastrad Silicone Steamer now we eat them almost every night. I could never get them quite right, they were either too hard or too mushy. Now they are perfect. I think this may be my favorite review so far. I use this thing almost everyday. You can steam anything you want in it, veggies, fish, shrimp, it even can be used as an 8 inch cake pan. I can’t wait to steam some fresh veggies from the garden this summer. It can go in the oven or the microwave and it is super easy to clean. I recevied the black one, but it comes in a bunch of cool colors, so you can try and match it to you other dishes if you want to
